I have my Omega2+ set up as an Access point along with the Ethernet module.
I set my router IP to 192.168.1.1.
On the Ethernet side I am trying to connect to a device which has a Static IP address in the same IP range as the router, 192.168.1.x.

I have also made the mods in the Network, Wireless and Firewall files as instructed in the documentation for both Omega2 Router setup and Ethernet setup.

I am not able to connect to the device on the Ethernet port. How can I do this?

Basically, instead of connecting the Omerga2's Ethernet port to a Modem, it's connected directly to a Web Server with a static IP. See attached diagram.
I can connect my phone to the AP, but when I type in the web address (192.168.1.250) I get a message saying can't reach that page.

Just the router (Omega2+) at 192.168.1.1 and my phone 192.168.1.233.

I don't see the Web server on the Ethernet port. It's like the Omega does not know that the Ethernet port is there, but I can see the connection in the terminal as it displays rt3050-esw 10110000.esw: link changed 0x01

I want to set up my O2+ as an AP (Router) using the Ethernet adapter.
I have the Ethernet adapter set up, but instead of connecting to an Internet Modem, I have it connected to an embedded web server with a fixed IP, in this case the Web Server is set to 192.168.1.250.

I tried following the documentation for Ethernet, Firewall, Network, etc., but can't seem to connect to my web server from the AP via my Smartphone.

Any suggestions?

I got a replacement Omerga2+ today and it seems to work fine. I'll consider the previous one as a bad device...

I submitted a ticket yesterday. I purchased from Sparkfun, not sure if they will replace it?

I may just have to order another.

I just did the firmware update - and again, I get the same Kernel stack is corrupted!
Must be a bad Omega2+ module... Not good, fresh out of the box!!

I entered command line mode from the USB terminal, during bootup I get this message:

Kernel panic - not syncing: stack-protector: Kernel stack is corrupted in: 8771d944

Now what?

I have a new Omega2+ that I just connected to the main dock. I powered it up, the amber LED blinked for a while, then went solid, then turned off.

There is No WiFi network coming up on the device, and yes I did try rebooting it a few times with the same result...

Do I have a dead Omega2+
