@fossette I want it to be able to send data to a service like ubidots, or something similar, to make an online live graph. I hope that helps you to help me.
Thanks

Hey. Firstly, I'm a total noob, especially when it comes to arduino. So please bare with me, if my question is just total nonsense.
I've bought the arduino dock, and set it all up, and i can now upload sketches, via the Omega.
But here is my question. Does the Omega also work like the ESP8266 wifi module? Does my arduino dock have access to the internet? If so, how do I make that work?
Thank you.
Hi.
I've had my Onion Omega for several months now, and so far, i haven't had success with any project.
Every time i need some kind of package, i always get "cannot install package". I've tried to work around this, but i can't seem to find an answer to this problem. I'll have you know, it might just be because i'm not very experienced, in this kind of thing. (Before you ask. Yes, i did use opkg update)
Right now i need the avahi-dbus-deamon. And it also returns "cannot install package".
Does anybody know how to solve this?
@Kit-Bishop This might be a really stupid question. But how do i copy the files to a directory on my omega?
@Kit-Bishop Thanks! I'll see if I can make it work. I'll let you know, whether they do or not. But it'll probably be tomorrow (It's late and i need to go to bed, haha).
@Michael-Vowles I made it work pretty nicely. But i can't seem to get it to run at boot-up.
Did you manage to do that?
@Kit-Bishop Thank you very much. You've been very helpful
@Kit-Bishop That cleared it up for me. Thanks!
I would really appreciate it, if you want to build it.
@Kit-Bishop Oh alright. I thought that might be the problem.
I'm new to all this. So how will I get it installed, if you were to build it for me? I don't think i fully understand it all.
Thank you very much, for your help.
Hi.
I need the luci-lib-json package for a project. But when i try to install it with "opkg install luci-lib-json" it returns:
"Unknown package 'luci-lib-json'.
Collected errors:
How do i get luci-lib-json?
Thank you very much!
It works now. I appreciate you help.
Hello. I'm going to start out by saying, i'm a noob to all this, so please forgive me, if i am being stupid.
So the problem is, i think i have messed up some settings in the etc. folder on my omega. More specifically, i think the problem is that i've changed wlan0 to monitor mode. I have no idea how to undo this. I did try to do a hard reset, but as far as i know, the etc. folder is not affected.
I can still connect to the omega via wifi, but i can't connect to the internet, from the omega.
So, my omega can't connect to the internet, and that is kinda the whole idea behind it.
I hope someone can help me.
Thanks.
@Luciano-S. Thank you!
Yes, that's exactly what i want to do
Hi. I just received my first Onion Omega, and this is all new for me.
I'd like my Omega to be able to listen for probe requests from nearby smartphones etc. and log the MAC addresses. Maybe even send it to something like Ubidots or something.
How would i do that?
I apologize if this is too broad of a question.
Thank you.
