Serial connection showing a lot of � whe it was connected to rx on usb to tx- and tx on usb to rx- on a ch3400 usb
/dev/ttyUSB0 115200-8-N-1
its working normaly and i can connect to wifi widouth any issue
any idea what it could be ?

@damir-djikic My Omega2 same happened with MiniDock.
But this Omega2 stable communicate with ExpantionDock.

it should not be affected by the dock as I am not communicating over the dock USB ( as I have power dock and it does not support ) I attached an external USB to serial on the serial pins

@damir-djikic If your "Tx-" and "-Rx" are the Omega's Ethernet pins then that won't work with a USB UART-serial connection. You want to use the TX0 and RX0 pins, which are 5 and 6 pins from the end with the antenna socket. Use good connections to eliminate noise in the communication.
