@Anders-Öster the thing about these chip lidars is generally they have no more than ~2 meters distance, that ~6 feet , detection. that is not very far. but, this unit does free up the main device being used in project by doing a lot of signal processing.

Yes I saw about the max 2m range, but for some things I don't need more than that.

@Anders-Öster yes, i had looked at those projects since i am now developing a lidar project with
lidar litev3 [40m range] and always interested in lidar projects, so thanks for posting. looking at others code for potential insights can sometimes help improve what i am trying to accomplish.
