Omega2+ using external LED as system LED

Hi,
I am using the omega2+ with in a large PCB and I am trying to blink a LED connected to GPIO15 during startup. Is there a way to use this GPIO instead of the embedded "system" LED?

@Maher if you search for gpio you will get a list of threads that cover alot of details on gpio with omega
