ArduinoIDE on Linux not working with arduino-dock2
-
Hi,
I just wanted to start using the Arduino dock. After all setup went well including that the ArduinoIDE detected the available Omega Network connection, it constantly fails to compile any sketch with"The current selected board needs the core 'arduino:arduino' that is not installed."
Google searches did not help even though it looks as if the Omega Board Library is not working.
ArduinoIDE Version is 1.8.9
Having installed the same on Windows is working without error.
Any Idea?
Regards
Andreas

@Andreas-Sassermann said in ArduinoIDE on Linux not working with arduino-dock2:
The current selected board needs the core 'arduino:arduino' that is not installed
you could try looking at Tools -> Board -> Board Manager and check if you need to install
the driver for: Arduino AVR Boards.
