Curious about the Hardware and sensors used in the TaU Camera

Hello,
I am a post grad student and trying to build a project with the camera. I am very curious about what is the hardware used for transmitter(eg. LASER), receiver(photodetector) and what hardware has been used to do the time to digital conversion.
