Proper python packaging

Hi all, since I needed a newer version of python to run on the omega2 LTE I've cross compiled 3.9 and got it successfully running with a functional pip install, however I'm only running it by copying the files to the sd and running it from there, is there a guide to package it on the owrt format to have it placed on the correct directory on the omega to replace the available out of date version provided by the package manager?

@ElGoose39 Take a look at the 23.05 documentation that has a detailed explanation on how to create your own repository. You could then remove the old version of python and install your own version. This documentation is relevant to the earlier Onion firmware 18.06 as well.
