Omega doesn't see my Wi-FI access point after upgrade
-
Hi guys,
After firmware upgrade Omega doesn't list my wi-fi in wifisetup and can't connect directly. Even with new firmware everything was ok before I did factory-reset -f.
I have 2 Omegas so I checked it and can confirm it reproduces.
Any way to fix it? Or can you provide me link to some first versions of firmware, so I can downgrade?

Hi @Vitalii-Topoliuk, it is possible that you have turned on only WiFi ac (5GHz) on your router. The Omega doesn't currently support WiFi ac, it only works with 2.4GHz. Can you check to make sure the 2.4GHz channel has been turned on on your router?

It works in both ranges, I have both 2.4 and 5 GHz devices attached.

@Vitalii-Topoliuk And which firmware did you upgrade your Omega to?

Vitali, I have a similar problem (firmware 0.0.5 b251): the AP switches on only when the Onion connects as client to a wifi signal.
For example try activating the connection sharing in your mobile phone and configure the Onion to connect to it; once connected check whether the Onion ESSID is detected by your notebook.
