USB Tethering with Android Phone

  • Hi there.

I tried to setup USB tethering from my Android phone but installation failed due to kernel dependency mismatch:

Package udev (173-1) installed in root is up to date.
    Configuring kmod-mii.
    Configuring kmod-usb-net.
failed to find a module named usbnet
    Configuring kmod-usb-net-rndis.
failed to find a module named rndis_host
    Collected errors:

    • satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for kmod-usb-net:
    • kernel (= 3.18.20-1-7bed08fa9c06eb8089e82c200340ec66) * kernel (= 3.18.20-1-7bed08fa9c06eb8089e82c200340ec66) *

    • satisfy_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for kmod-usb-net-rndis:
    • kernel (= 3.18.20-1-7bed08fa9c06eb8089e82c200340ec66) *

    • check_data_file_clashes: Package usbutils wants to install file /usr/bin/lsusb
But that file is already provided by package * busybox
    • opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package usbutils.
      root@Omega-0CB9:/# opkg --force-depends install kmod-usb-net-rndis
Package kmod-usb-net-rndis (3.18.20-1) installed in root is up to date.

    Can someone help me?

    Cheers Ben
