Unable to access, no WiFi, password not recognized
-
I connected an Onion Omega via USB to my PC.
The Omega board LED is lit.
No wifi network is present (my pc is connected via wifi and the wifi is working)
If I go to the console via serial instead of the welcome screen described in the documentation I see this:
(none) mips #6 Fri Aug 28 16:51:14 CST 2015 (none)
(none) login:Using root/onioneer does not work.
Any suggestion?
Thanks!

Managed to access with root an 5up as password (default OpenWRT root password)
The wifisetup script is not present

@Luigi-Rosa Hi Luigi, this problem is a manufacturing defect, so the correct firmware was not flashed onto the Omega. Can you confirm that your shipping address is still the same? We will need to send you an Ethernet Dock to reflash the firmware on the Omega.
So sorry about that.

The address is the same: I live in Pavia, Italy, the street is in your database.
If there is a procedure using a connected USB thumbdrive, please let me know, so you can save an ethernet module and the shipping expensesThank you!

@Luigi-Rosa Hi Luigi, unfortunately, that feature hasn't been stabilized yet, so we did not include it in the production firmware. We will ship you an ethernet expansion to get you started.
Cheers.

I don't have this issue but if possible I would be interested in seeing the flash procedure just on general principles
-
@Ronald-McCollam Do you have an ethernet expansion? We are currently working on a tutorial, and we should have it ready in the next couple of days
-
@Boken-Lin I do have an Ethernet expansion. I'll look forward to the tutorial! I'm interested in poking at the underlying Linux distro a bit so that will be good to see.

@Ronald-McCollam Cool! In the mean time, please check out our tutorial on how to setup your Cross compile environment, so that you can actually compile a firmware to be flashed into the Omega! The tutorial is located at: https://wiki.onion.io/tutorials/cross-compile
