[RESOLVED] Omega2 Usb storage as root-fs
-
Hi, I'm struggling to follow the tutorial here https://wiki.onion.io/Tutorials/Using-USB-Storage-as-Rootfs
First problem was, there's no e2fsprogs package anymore (used another machine to format the stick)
Second, block-mount package is also missing in opkg, so 'block detect' is not working. Is there any other compatible repo I can use for installing missing packages? Thanks in advance.

@Kostiantyn-Tarasenko Just enable the official LEDE-repos in /etc/opkg/distfeeds.conf and move the Onion-ones to the bottom of the list, so they take precedence over the LEDE-ones. The LEDE-repos should already be in that config-file, they're just commented out.

Thanks. It helped.
Any idea, why do they disabled by default?

@Kostiantyn-Tarasenko Most likely, because if you try to upgrade the wrong package, like e.g. some library that some Onion-devs' own package is dependant on, but that is compiled with different settings than the LEDE-one, it could render that package inoperable.
