Connecting to PEAP network on Omega2+
-
I'm trying to find a way to connect to a PEAP-authenticated WiFi network on the Omega2+. I've searched and found: https://wiki.onion.io/Tutorials/Connecting-to-Enterprise-Secured-Wifi (I'm actually also trying to connect to eduroam) and https://community.onion.io/topic/27/wifi-wpa2-eap-peap-mschapv2, but both of these seem to have been written for the original Omega, and don't seem to use the ApCliSsid, and associated things in /etc/config/wireless.
Any help appreciated!

@Thomas-Jager have you had any luck?
i too am trying to figure out how to connect to an enterprise network. i've changed just about every configuration option i can think of but i would be willing to bet that whatever package it's using to connect doesn't even support PEAP.

If it can be of any help, according to the MediaTek MT7688 Datasheet, the CPU chipset supports AES128/256CBC, WEP64/128, TKIP, AES, WPA, WPA2, WAPI and WPS: PBC, PIN. For any other VPN or security features, you have to build it yourself, or find the right software package.
Perhaps an alternative would be to use an unsecured connection to a router that does support PEAP?
