Access to serial port with Power Dock?
-
So I get it there is not built-in USB-Serial chip on the Power dock, but I expected to be able to use an external USB-SerialTTL adapter whenever I needed console access.
However, it seems the TX/RX pins from the Omega2 are not broken out anywhere, and the only way to use them is to solder wires somewhere.
Is this true?
When will you release the schematics of the Power Dock?

You try the ones marked on the board itself? Around 5 or 6 down on the expansion slot?

@Brad-Buskey yeah, but I didn't want too mess around with the soldering iron, a 3-pin header is not too much to add in a future version maybe

why solder? just get some breadboard patch wires and a solder-less breadboard.
