ncurses-bin package

Hey Onioneers,
looking for a way to port the ncurses-bin package tools to this little device.
the basic ncurses package leaves out tic and other terminal database functions.
I saw debian has it as a mipsel .deb file. I tried making it as a .ipk (ar -x then tar ) but i got a "pkg_hash_fetch_best_installation_candidate: Packages for ncurses-bin found, but incompatible with the architectures configured. cannon install packages ncurses-bin
