Is it possible to leave the power dock with battery plugged in to USB? To use as a form of UPS.

I would like to use a power dock for the onion omega with the lithium battery acting as a backup power source. So normally it would get powered over USB, and then when that power falls away it would fall back to battery power. Is it possible to do this or will it damage the battery?

Yes you can. The battery management chip on the power dock is smart enough to not over charge the battery.
