Pin for socket programming
-
Hi all,
I'm developing a board using the Omega2 and I need a socket for the software uploading.
I found this great video: linkI need these pins at 0:25 sec ; does anyone knows the name or code i.e. Farnell or Digikey?
I will add them to my Eagle board. Thanks!

No one?

@Die-Go I think those custom made springs are fabricated by a small Chinese workroom.
Here you are a similar - but not so sophisticated - DIY solution.

at a local hacker space there have been some diy test bed boards made with straight pogo pins that allow for use with castellated or half hole cards. best to use some type of drill press or cnc so the holes are perpendicular. also, solid anchoring of pin will help make it last. i've also in the past tried to find those shown in video. no luck. but, that safety pin solution looks like a possibility. thanks, @GYÖRGY FARKAS , for that link.

Thank you! I will probably try to do the same as on the video

A good socket is always necessary - no doubt about it. Sometimes it’s also a good idea to buy high-quality power supplies . This is the basis, especially when it comes to CNC machines.
