Omega2+ LED turns off after blinking during boot
-
So I am trying to power my Omega2+ without a dock, and I have followed the instructions from the documentation about it.
It ran fine at first, but when I tried to download the firmware, I noticed the bar didn't move for some time, and that the omega's LED had turned off.
I thought that I would try it again the next day, but now after I plug in the power supply, the LED lights up, blinks, and turns off.The power supply I am using is rated for 5VDC/2A, so I don't think it's the problem?
Any help would be much appreciated.

@shironats My guess is your u-boot is failing so the device is crashing, probably caused when your firmware flash failed. Have you connected to a terminal to see what if anything is occuring? I guess you'll need a dock for that so probably not.

@crispyoz Is it possible to do anything in this state then? Aside from possibly buying a dock or a new Omega?

@shironats Check out this thread, it's a bit extreme but might be useful. Personally, I think a dock is the best option, when you're doing experimental stuff you break things, so it's important to have the right tools at your disposal to be able to fix stuff.
Being able to use the serial console is pretty important because it helps you understand exactly what is happening.

@crispyoz Sorry uh, I think maybe you forgot to link the thread?

@shironats Sorry I am a man of many faults and failure to attach attachments is one of them
