Unable to connect: is the sketch using the bridge?

Hi everyone!!
I present the following problem, I cannot see anything through the serial port, now, I wonder if there are any steps, which I am ignoring.
I am using a dht11, and I am working with the example code from the library.
Finally, would someone provide me with detailed instructions, of how to communicate with my arduino dock from onion os?

@nreyes According to the documentation the Arduino dock uses UART1 to communicate so you need to use ttyS1.
