@Carsten As you know the latest firmware of Omega2 is based on OpenWrt 18.06 (an old release). The latest gcc is version 9.3 and has several advantages as C++ has evolved since 2016. Here you are talking about the latest OpenWrt 19.07 release (2020-04-05). So you should rather ask: When will Omega2's FW be upgraded to OpenWrt 19.07?
