@Kit-Bishop I am definitely interested in the alternatives and will probably end up trying one of those. I guess I just don't want my mini dock to go to waste ¯\(ツ)/¯

@Ken-Conrad That's really cool and while not quite what I was looking for I might end up getting it. I was hoping for something that I could just sandwich between my Mini Dock and Omega.

Is a Mini Dock expansion still a possibility?
I saw this thread on a possible expansion for the Mini Dock and got really excited because it is exactly what I am looking for. Does anyone know if this is something that still might be released?

HELP! Did not read the instructions and ran `oupgrade` from the Terminal App!
The title says it all, I tried to upgrade my Omega2+ to the latest firmware using the
oupgrade
command but skipped over the part where they said specifically:The oupgrade command will not work properly if you run it from the Terminal App on the Console.
Well poop... So now the omega WiFi is still available and I can get to the login page however the LED is blinking rapidly and I can't actually log in.
Any idea where I can go from here? -
RE: Cannot connect to "omega-xxxx.local" after successful setup! [Solved-ish]
Thanks @Steve-Smythe, that worked! There must be something wrong with the password setting because only the old stuff works ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "omega-xxxx.local" still doesn't work but I'll just use the internal IP address like you said.
Thanks! -
Cannot connect to "omega-xxxx.local" after successful setup! [Solved-ish]
So I just got my Omega2+ and ran the setup wizard successfully; I was able to login fine and everything was working. Then I tried changing the username/password and stuff stopped working.
It asked me to sign in again but kept saying that I had the incorrect username/password, tried everything I could think of from carefully typing the new credentials to trying the defaults but nothing worked. Nothing was working so I decided to restart the Omega to see if that would change anything.
Now when I try to connect the omega-xxxx.local Chrome gives me the error "server DNS address could not be found." Any idea of what I can do?
