This is an absolute joke.
My Digikey backorder from 2 1/2 months ago is being completely ignored. No response from customer service even through I have stated I will pay the massively increased price.
Mouser assured me they will ship my backorder on 12th June but sure enough it has not shipped. This is after pushing the date out three times.
Also Digikey price for OM-O2SP singles are over $US35 now! Raspberry Pi territory.
Re the Omega 2S and 2S+ we've had our back orders pushed out twice at Digikey and now twice at Mouser. Latest Mouser estimate is early July.
This is seriously holding up our production pilot runs. Can we please get an update on when you expect to deliver to Mouser and Digikey.
@crispyoz @jossval Yes I totally agree re following the recommendations, and it's what I'll do for now.
Was hoping to get a bit more detail on the exact implications of just connecting it to 3V3 (eg backflow and excess supply current risks).
I just really don't want to add more components if I can help it!
On the Omega 2S+ can I connect the VDD_FLASH pin directly to 3V3? Or is the series diode and 50 ohm resistor required? I don't need hardware reset.
Can you reflow the Omega 2S+ twice? Can't see any info in the datasheet or hardware integration guide.
