From witch country you ordered?
Germany -
Was there a tax free limit you could buy?
My order was round about 65ā¬ (little developer package with some stuff) and i had to pay additional round about 11ā¬ (~12$). I don't have any information about a duty free definition. But i guess my value was to much anyway. -
Is there a special place you could inform you (URL etc.)
? -
Could you track your order?
Nope, i guess after the big shipment announcement, i've got a letter from the german customs. The reason for catching the package was: unidentifiable goods without any kind of delivery notes (outside the package). -
Probably would be also good idea to know if it was from kick starter?
Kickstarter, not early bird order.

RE: ks says shipped one month ago but still did not get my onion :(
@Boken-Lin the problem was, that on the package wasn't a billing or price information. I had to open the package and confirm the value and my transaction.
I guess the german customs is very fussy But anyway, i ordered the kit version ~65$. it's ok, the only problem was, that this issue takes a lot of time and i had to go to the customs office, which is very far away.

hi tim,
i had the same issue. i guess your onion is located at the german customs and you have to pay additional duty or it. i had to pay round about 10ā¬.
So good luck!

RE: Develop your App
What i've found out is, that all apps are written in Polymer (https://www.polymer-project.org). By the way, this is a very nice framework! I really like it and has a wonderful UI library.
I created a small test app, by copy paste an existing app and modify it. This is a good way to understand, how the infrastructure of the onion console works. I guess it's a benefit, if you take a look to the polymer framework. The hole UI is based on it and the app architecture as well.
The gpio app is a good example, how an app works and interact with services.
I hope, we will have as soon as possible a best practice for it.
