Omega 2+ won't hold configuration
-
Every time I power down the Omega 2+ and power it up again, I have to go through the setup (when I go to the address in a browser, it comes up with set up your omega). This just started. It had been working. I've updated to the latest v3 firmware to see if it was a firmware issue but still have the same problem.

@Bryan-French Try to use this address on your browser http://omega-ABCD.local/OnionOS/
or run on the Onion's Command Line
uci set onion.console.setup='1' ; uci commit onion
Good luck!

@Bryan-French I have experienced a similar issue twice and each time the root cause was different.
- Reset button was faulty, effectively causing a factory reset each time the device booted
- On my custom board there was a power issue causing the file system to become sligtly corrupted. When the device rebooted I was being impatient and not allowing the file system check to complete, the file system was in read only mode so any changes were not being comitted. In both cases I was able to identify the issue using the serial console because the answer was in the console messages, I just needed to be patient and read them.

@crispyoz OP is talking about OFF/ON power cycles only - no RESET BUTTON.
When he switches ON his Omega2+ and opens a browser and wants to navigate an address
(probably to http://192.168.3.1 or http://omega-ABCD.local/ - you know he wants to use that beautiful OnionOS)
he always gets the Setup Wizard ...
So I think his Omega2+ does not lose its configuration at all.

@György-Farkas ok, i see.
Beautiful is a relative term

@György-Farkas I should clarify for the sake of future readers of this thread. With regard to the reset button, I was not using the reset button, the button had a fault so that when I plugged in the cable to power the device, the reset button was effectively being pushed in, causing a factory reset.

@crispyoz OK. Unfortunately I don't understand, I can't even begin to imagine how this happened.
