Omega 2S WiFi Antenna Design

Hi,

I have not found a good wifi antenna reference when designing a pcb for the omega onion 2s/+.

Would someone be able to recommend/advise on possible PCB trace schematics/designs as im looking to keep cost down.

Does the 2S dev board have a 0 (Zero) Ohm resistor connected to the Ant pin? What is the purpose of this?

@UFD I use this antenna with my custom PCB, it works really well for me:

The zero Ohm resistor is on the Omega2/2+, per the docs you remove this resistor in order to use an external UFL antenna

Thanks will certainly consider the chip option.

I'll also try and copy the trace antenna from the dev board image as best as possible and compare results.
