No amber led, no wifi, no /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART

Thank you all for your support. I installed today the drivers on El Capitan and rebooted just in case, but there is no change at all. Tonight I will try on a PC and will update the status. Meanwhile I'm attaching an image that might help to show any dumb connection I made. ...By the way I'm sure it's very well inserted into the expansion Thanks!

Hi @Pedro-Cervantes-Pintor, would you be able to try a different USB cable? Some cables on the market are power-only, so they don't actually transmit any data. That might be the cause of your computer not detecting the device at all. Can you try it and let me know the result?

Hi Boken Lin. You are right, I bought a new cable and I can see now the tty device. I typed the command "screen /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART" and got a login message. After some research I used root/5up and finally got in. I believe that I need to flash my device, if this is true can you send me please a link or any source of information? Thanks in advance.

@Pedro-Cervantes-Pintor Do you happen to have an ethernet expansion?

No, I just have the expansion dock, mini dock, arduino dock, and I'm waiting the shipment for the battery dock

@Pedro-Cervantes-Pintor Do you have resistors, capacitors and a breadboard? If you do we can show you how to make an ethernet expansion on your own so you would be able to re-flash the Omega right away.

I have some resistors and a breadborard, but no capacitors at all.
...It sounds like is not going to be as easy as I expected :S

@Boken-Lin I have seen other posts (which I can't find at the moment :-() relating to this.
I think it would be helpful if the information on how to wire up an ethernet expansion was placed on the Wiki.I appreciate that you are all pretty busy, but I think it would help if such common information were held in a single place.

@Pedro-Cervantes-Pintor You can find some information about it in the following two posts: https://community.onion.io/topic/130/debrick-with-serial/ and https://community.onion.io/topic/157/reflash-omega-without-ethernet/2. If you think this is too difficult, just let me know and I'll send you an ethernet expansion. @Kit-Bishop I'm half way through writing that tutorial. Just waiting for https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13021 to arrive. Didn't want to break an existing Ethernet cable, lol.

I made half the circuit published at https://community.onion.io/topic/130/debrick-with-serial/6 as described in https://community.onion.io/topic/157/reflash-omega-without-ethernet I was trying to follow the instructions at https://community.onion.io/topic/67/onion-omega-seems-to-have-no-wifi
But can't connect to the tftp server. If all the connections are correct I guess I should be able to ping from my computer to the Onion, is this correct? If so, then I have to check my connections.

Hi @Pedro-Cervantes-Pintor, can you post a picture of your setup? Also, are you seeing any error outputs? If so can you copy and paste it here for us to take a look at?
