Can't disable AP
-
I have tried every variation of method I can find online and can't disable the AP on my Omega2. I am running the b159 firmware. I have tried lots of manual edits to
/etc/config/wireless
and tried via the web console. The console doesn't have any kind of save button on the screen where you uncheck the box forEnable AP Mode
so it never seems to take. Please help!

post your /etc/config/wireless file

You can't just disable the AP and keep wifi client. You will have to disable wifi all together or make AP SSID hidden

@Zheng-Han I'm curious, is this actually hard-coded in the driver, or are you just talking about your WiFi-configuration tools not being to do this? If it's actually hard-coded in the driver.....

It's hard coded in the MediaTek driver
There is an opensource version of the wifi driver, however it's very buggy we haven't being able to get it working reliably
