@Kim-Nyholm I think iw and iwinfo are not working as expected due to WARP CORE (the Onion Enhanced MT7688 WiFi Driver). Check the '/tmp/dhcp.leases' file that lists all the devices which connected to that AP so far (in the last 12 hours - it's the default lease time). If you want to know only the number of active clients then flush actualize the arp cache in some way. Do you want an example?

@Ankit-Rana I tried to reply for this "Omega 2 can't complete booting process!!!" and this "Omega continously Booting ..." statements. Later you wrote Omega 2 can't complete booting process!!! but still the LED is blinking for some time and again it continue, omega complete booting process. "Omega 2 can't complete booting" vs "omega complete booting" - this is some contradiction. And I don't fully understand what about the amber OMEGA LED. You have a USB-to-3.3V TTL serial converter module. You have already made a Serial Console connection (RX0, TX0, GND --- your module Tx, Rx, GND --- USB port of your host PC --- PuTTY). Omega continously Booting cant find access point Look at the output of the Serial Console to see what's going on.

Tried that. It failed before it opens a screen. Downloaded the driver, followed instructions and couldn’t get past the screen /dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART 115200 command.

I use 2 methods: ping my webserver run ifconfig to check for existence of apclio and local IP address from result of both I could tell if I needed to call wifimanager to restart. Since b17* it's been stable enough to reconnect itself so I no longer use this and I cache data until I am able to connect again using urllib2.

You need to edit the file /etc/config/wireless Under config wifi-iface sta set option disabled '0' to option disabled '1' reboot your omega2+ and it will not try to scan or connect to any WiFi.

Ok, quite simple actually : ) @omega-ABCD.local/console open Editor, navigate to /etc/config and edit dhcp file. At the end of the file, add the following: config host option name 'name of your host' option ip 'XXX.XXX.X.X' // address ip you want to assign this device. option mac 'XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX' // // mac address this device. you can add as many as you want. Finally found a solution: If you use your own custom webserver to setup the omega and want to display nearby Networks. <?php echo shell_exec("ubus call onion wifi-scan \"{'device':'ra0'}\""); ?> ^ This DOESN'T work! because: the php-interpreter doesn't have enaught ram to excute the command. It'll take a eternity. Solution: in /etc/php.ini set memory_limit form 8M to 32M memory_limit = 32M ; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume. now the scan only takes about 5sec.

@WereCatf I am using the command with "ra0", no the placeholder. Using the placeholder would get ...no such file" result.
