More free memory

After installing Python there is hardly any free memory left.
However /tmp has 29M free.
Is there no way to make /tmp a bit smaller and create some more space for a Python app ? Use Image Generator or . . . . .?

This is a common complaint. There are ways to use the docks and add a micro SD card for more storage, and a couple different techniques to extend storage onto the card. Look for the articles on this site.

@Ruud-van-der-Pluijm /tmp is actually the free flash memory.
You can follow this tutorial to use USB storage to hold the Omega's OS.
Alternatively, the Omega2 Kickstarter campaign is now live, the Omega2 Plus comes with 32MB of flash storage and a built-in MicroSD slot

I do not have the Omega, though I backed the Omega2 Plus to get more memory. I did see though that the Omega uses a SPI based Flash memory chip and was curious if anyone has tried to replace the flash chip with a larger SPI based flash memory chip? Is there any limitation that would force this to only be 16M for the Omega?
