Careful use of the connection via micro USB, for power and serial connection, should be exercised once you move to "off the desk usage" of the expansion module. While it sits on your work bench all is good but the connector in question can detach from the board rather easily if not properly relieved from strain.

For the record, there is no USB-to-Serial chip on the Power Dock!
And I've actually found it quite difficult to unplug the battery cable...@Guest Can you please update the topic title to better reflect the contents of your post?

@Lazar-Demin Referring to the connector on the expansion doc which can be used to connect power to the omega and access via serial connection. Will show a pic as soon as my phone charges to make my point a bit clearer.
