Hello, Some days ago I was trying to make work my ultrasonic sensor to upload data to mqtt server, so I want to share my code, first, you need to install node red on omega2, second, you need to put a resistor on ultrasonic sensor accordin to the datasheet

we are going to work in mode three, so put the resistor of 120k

finally just upload my flow to your omega, you can use uart 0 or uart1 on omega or use a ttl usb converter, thats your choice

Hello everyone, I'm Developing a flow on node red, so I made a wiring from JSN-sr04t 2.0 to omega via TTL, so I used a uart from omega to connect it I put a resistor on Ultrasonic sensor to work in mode 2 on ttl, but I have a problem, I don't know how to convert the raw data on distance, I only have data like that!

I would like to upload all my project to share it and help anyone that want to use a ultrasonic sensor on omega, could anyone help me to convert the data on distance?

Just buy a ams1117 3.3 just check that it work to 3.3v because you can find different values, if you want to configure your wifi just execute wifisetup con console

This Is too old but I want to add something, omega2 has 2 port uart, the first is used to communicate with a pc over expansion board, so you have one uart port free, you can do it without USB to serial adapter on RX1 an TX1

it could be possible only if you uninstall the gui package of default firmware, luci and onionOS use the same port (port 80) try to install both of them only gives you a conflict package

Hello everyone, I want to share my project modifying the source code to port dataplicity to omega onion and any openwrt device, so, lets to start

check you have the last version of firmware

oupgrade

lets go to edit the repo list

vi /etc/opkg/distfeeds.conf

after that, you have to make a opkg update

opkg update

install the following packages

opkg install python-pip sudo shadow-useradd ca-certificates curl nano

so we have to upgrade pip and install the next packages

pip install --upgrade pip setuptools
pip install --upgrade egg supervisor

make these two lines one by one because all in the same line causes errors

create the next folders

mkdir /etc/supervisor/
mkdir /etc/supervisor/conf.d

create the supervisor config file in the first folder

nano /etc/supervisor/supervisord.conf

and paste the next code inside

the next step is download dataplicity code, create an account and add a device so you will see something like this

the token is different for each account, so you have to download the code to change some lines
download it with wget

wget https://www.dataplicity.com/"your_token.py"

after that, we have to delete some lines

nano "your_token.py"

find these selected lines and delete them

so, at this point you can install dataplicity, lets do it

finally we have to create a daemon of supervisor package

If you do it right you will see something like this

click on the device and turn on the wormhole

install the legacy console on the omega

when you click the wormhole link it will be redirect to

change it for

and voila, you have terminal and a lot of things remotely without dmz and free!

don't forget, you can use it with webcam app

I will appreciate if someone helps me to improve the code and do it fully working without wormhole or adding something else, the reboot button works fine
