[Resolved]Install Quality Terminal Emmulator
-
The Terminal tool that is part of the Console has no options to change font or size. Not even Cut, Copy & Paste, or up/down arrow commands to remember previous entries. Any suggestions that have been tried for a good Terminal Emulator for Omega2+ ?

@Don-DeGregori PuTTY.

@WereCatf
I don't mean PuTTY or editors nano and vi . Not even Miniterm. You know what I mean !
-
@Don-DeGregori No, I don't. You asked for a good terminal-emulator and PuTTY is one. I use it every god damn day.
-
Don,
All you're going to get right now for the web Console interface is the default terminal app. The Console app isn't designed to be granular. If you want anything better, you might as well use PuTTY or something similar as you're already using an outside computer to access your device. I just ssh in on OSX's Terminal app and it does everything you listed and I'm pretty sure PuTTY can do the same.

@WereCatf
Are you asking God to damm your day? He might just do that.
-
@WereCatf Yup, PuTTY is agood oldstand by thatI regularly use. Also I find that on Windows MobaXterm (http://mobaxterm.mobatek.net/) has its uses
-
@Kit-Bishop Never heard of that one before. It's really extremely rarely that I do something that can't be done from the command-line and I usually just opt for VNC, then, but I guess I'll earmark that -- never hurts to have more than one tool in the toolbox! Spanks for the pointer.

@Don-DeGregori I don't believe in such rubbish, so I ain't particularly worried.

My mistake. I really meant something like Linux Gedit editor, which is in Mint or Ubuntu, and most other distros. It just shows up as Text Editor. And of course Terminal is in all versions of Linux. And nano I use all the time. I guess I was just frustrated with Omega2+ in general. PuTTY is just fine. And Omega2+ is getting better. And the rain has stopped and the Sun is out.
