Troubleshooting IDE compiler
-
Hi All,
I just got my Arduino Dock Omega 2+ kit. I am really excited to try out different projects. However, as a beginner I came across road blocks i.e after following instructions to kickstart 1st experiment blink. Now that I have downloaded the IDE compiler, I am trying to upload my sketch but I get constant message of failed upload. Along with that I have checked if there is any port or dock issue and it seems to be fine. (* although I would mention initially I came across an option for two different ports for the onion. Eventually, it disappeared). Lastly, I also installed the arduino as per instruction on the terminal in Omega (192.168.1.2) window. Can someone please tell me how I can proceed from here?
Thanks!
Regards,
Irfan

best thing to do would be to spend at least a month learning the IDE by reading online documentation covering all aspects of setup and use of IDE as well as basics of coding.

Not fully clear (maybe just for me) what did you try to do with the Arduino IDE and your Omega up to now.
BTW the factory default IP address of Omega2(+) Wifi AP is 192.168.3.1.

As of right now, I updated the firmware, setup the breadboard with the schematic and connected the omega to the port and dock point of ide. Now I am waiting to see upload the sketch. However, its failing everytime.

I am still having a very similar problem with my arduino dock and have not resolved it as yet:

Maybe one of the comments given will help you figure it out. If you do please let me know how!
