Onion is Not powerd-ON
-
@crispyoz Hi sir how are you?
i have connected 5V adapter to our customized board. using LMR i am converting 5V to 3.456V and passing to modem+onion. here modem was turned-on but the onion was not ON and i checked onion PIN 8 & 9th pins getting 3.46V. what was the problem and why onion is not getting-ON?

@Nagarjuna-Reddy What voltage does pin 32 have? VDD_FLASH
I think that in order to help you you should provide more information about the circuit you used.
-
@Nagarjuna-Reddy Have you checked the status of the required pin status against the datasheet? This issue is consistent with System Boot Pins not being in the correct state. Refer to section 3.3.1 of the data sheet,
-
@jossvall sir VDD_FLASH voltage showing 3.45V.
-
@Nagarjuna-Reddy What do you have connected to pins 2, 20, 27, 33, 34, 39?
These pins should be floating when you start the omega2.
-
@jossvall thanks sir,
I will check and let you know.
-
+1 to @jossvall's response
For reference, this is also mentioned in our documentation: http://docs.onion.io/omega2-docs/using-gpios.html#boot-pins
And in the Omega2S datasheet - see Section 3.3.1 - System Boot Pins

@Nagarjuna-Reddy I see that you published in another post, and I think you were able to make your custom board start correctly, you should post the solution here, so that other people can get feedback from the experience.
