everything is in the title.
i see my webcam stream via this page :
http://192.168.x.xx:8080/?action=stream

but i want to grab the video feed in a program i'm building now (on android)
is there any possibility to obtain anything else than this output ?
for example be able to receive the stream as an IMAGE (with an extension like .jpg or any other) instead of such more elaborate url ?

happy to not be alone. i also tried like everything (except bootloading because i just have the Arduino dock 2)

But i seems that you went further and even this didn't solved the problem, so i can spare more headaches.

[O2+ with Arduino Dock 2]
After leaving the Onion take dust for over 8 months because of this problem i gave it a try today ..
No success ... i was reading this thread again from the whole beginning and tried litteraly everything.

i confirm that :

• all this was done on a fresh new installation of last Onion firmware
• i added the lines in boards.txt (as you can see further my arduino IDE recognises the board)
  i use arduino 1.8.5 but anyway even via ssh with the ino in /root/ folder i have the same damn error
• i have AvrDude 6.1 installed (not the newest from LEDE package)

Still the same error i had 9 month ago, directly in SSH or on Arduino IDE

i don't have the buggy AVR-dude from later versions (LEDE Package Repos are commented out) / i have v 6.1

ANYWAY => same error, in IDE like in SSH

HELP ! i tried everything, spend hours having an headache because of this ...

The only thing i didn't do is to try to flash again the bootloader
(because i just have the Arduino dock and it would be a pain in the ass to put these wires on ICSP ...
anyway it might not solve the problem

do anyone did this ? flash the ArduinoDock2 from Onion2 while the onion is currently on that dock ?

I beg for help im desperate. I backed Onion to be able to use it with Arduino and it does not work.
is it possible that the dock or arduino itself is defectuous ?

you have the same error as me right ?
i ordered another omega2 on indieGogo .. i hope that wen i receive it i will be able to compare if my 2nd still has the same issue ...
for now i just dont use the Omega and i purchased a RaspberryPi3 to learn meanwhile i have a fix for Avrdude

sometime I found my problem related to wifi, and yes, once I put it down it works but when I put it down again it won't work, I have tried not to touch it once it made connection, still works.. I am about 3 metres from the router which is a good distance.

how can avr-dude be "broken" ?

i do "opkg remove" of everything related with arduino (dock1, dock2, avr-dude ..)
i reboot the system.
then i reinstall each of these ( pikcing of course only one of the 2 docks cause they can't be used in the same time, anyway mine is the _2)
i reboot the system just to be sure ...

Arduino IDE recognizes the board via WIFI, i can even inout the board PASSWORD ...
but then this damn problem occurs.

i suspect it's the communication between the Omega and the ATmega that is going crazy.
What should i do ? should i downgrade to the firmware that had CLOUD registering broken ?
cause with that plugin i COULD ACTUALLY upload sketches.

i beg anyone to help, i'm starting to be fed-up with this.

+1 on this. A pity omega1 and 2 are messed up in some documentation.

im starting to be fed-up ....
it worked yesterday with the latest firmware ...
now after i did a factory reset i can't manage to upload any sketch.
neither via Arduino last IDE nor manually.

and today this does not work ....

OK my bad.
i installed arduino-dock instead of arduino-dock-2 ...
doing opkg remove arduino-dock and then opkg install arduino-dock-2 makes the flashing work again.

the wiki should really inform beginners there are TWO different arduino packages

hello guys

i have a similar problem.
with the old firmware i was able to upload sketches on the arduino.
then i made the upgrade and like cusackph i was surprised that everything i've set-up before was gone

i made opkg install arduino-dock
then the Arduino IDE sees the board under the list of boards.

i was thinking that i have the ability to upload sketches back as before BUT
now i have an error i never had before on flashing (right after putting the password)

i also tried various press on MCU_reset button after password or plugin power off and on again .. but nothing changes

any toughts ?
