So which is better omega2+ or VoCore2

Hi,

I'm using Omega2+ and have run out of GPIO pins, so im looking for a new module of the same cost as omega2+.

I tried using VoCore2 previously but couldn't get anything to work, so I switched to Omega2, but now seems i have to switch back because omega2+ doesn't have enough free GPIO pins.

Has anybody use VoCore2 before?

You can use GPIO expanders like MCP23017 and PCA9554.
Take care of using PCA9554, it is cheap but it is reset and all pins are set as pull-up input state on power-up time.
MCP23017 is easier to use as it has no such issue.

@nsmith there is also the surface-mount Omega2S/Omega2S+, it has 37 total GPIOs compared to 18 on the Omega2/Omega2+

@Lazar-Demin Yes, I decided im going to use the 2S, does it use the same openwrt image as the omega2+?

@nsmith Exactly the same firmware image, you just have more GPIO, UART and PWM exposed.
