FAQ: Is the original Omega from 2015 still getting software updates?
The Original Omega, while great in it’s time, has not been produced since 2015. We no longer offer software updates because it is no longer in production and the Omega2 is a pin-compatible replacement.
However, documentation for the original Omega can still be found here: https://onioniot.github.io/wiki/
We strongly recommend upgrading to the Omega2 family, the hardware is more powerful, it’s a more mature product, and we've done a lot of work to make it a great IoT computer.
My original omega is stuck on Device Firmware Version: 0.0.1 and when I try to update it I get an error message saying: ERROR: request timeout, internet connection not successful.
I have about 20 of these guys and I just want to update them to the latest firmware available.
Can anyone help please?

Have you tried downloading the latest firmware to
/tmp/on the Omega and doing a
If your Omega has network, you can pull the firmware from an
sshshell and perform the upgrade.
If your Omega doesn't have upstream connectivity, you can
pscpon windows) the firwmare image downloaded to your workstation/laptop over to the Omega to perform a manual upgrade.
Where can we find the latest firmware for the Omega1?
Hi Lazar, I have found several Omega1s which I would like to use. Where can I find the last firmware files. I have a simple project that these old devices would be perfect for.
