@luz you are right of course! I was trying for hours to setup arduino-dock (v.1) on my Omega2+ and getting that same error. Mistyped it without the spaces and that error disappeared. As expected arduino-dock still did not work
Looks good, Thanks for sharing! I tested out your code on one of my original Omega, and was also having issues with running out of space. When I have some time I'll try again with my Omega2+ and add more space with an SD card.
I've been too busy with work to get anywhere with my own project, but am looking for the best way to add server-side functionality to this project. It would be great to be able to change the setpoint, show last off time, and set minimum off time. Any suggestions on the best way to do this? I'm trying to learn more about PHP, and also looking at node.js.
Once I have an Omega controlling my draft cooler, my goal is to replace the arduino controlling my brewery now. Hopefully I will be far enough along with that project to have something worth sharing in a couple more weeks.
We have a guide to this setup in our Starter Kit experiments. Check out https://docs.onion.io/omega2-starter-kit/starter-kit-controlling-an-lcd-screen.html to learn how to read a 1-Wire temperature sensor and display it on a 16x2 LCD screen!
I am very impressed with this project, but I wonder Why there is so expensive camera used (over $100)? Is there a special feature you wanted to use?
My second question is - will you public more details on this project? Do you use mjpeg-streamer? As I have read it has some bugs, so maybe that's why camera broadcast freezes?
Thanks in advance for every answer!
Also note that MT7688 does not have a crypto accelerator module inside to help the encryption/decryption process thus the poor CPU will have to do the hard labor.
I'd suggest: give that CPU/SoC a break and let it do what it is designed to do; no more and no less.
