@Joris-Mulliez I agree that PHP is of no use here, however I have plans to take this further, and wanted to start with the PHP base to work into. I am taking small steps into this whole new computing world for me. Yes, I could have just had the Python write out to "index.htm" and left it there, however what I am now doing is even beyond that. I want the initial page to allow for the selection of ZIP, City, PWS, Lat/Long and to set the refresh rate. This is only a backbone to grow from.

So, has there been any movement on getting the expled to actually work? I can use the gpioctl but those are on/off, cannot control the amount of color to come through. All that comes back is "Segmentation Fault".

OK, new scripts have been created, I can now get the screen set up the way I want. All I have to do now is to read in the file and separate the data into the variables. I'm getting there, but slowly. {"age":6357,"latitude":"38.1234","longitude":"-80.1234","elevation":"1234.5","course":"12.34","speed":"N"} needs to be split so that I get back lat="38.1234" lon="-80.1234" elv="1234.5" cou="12.34" spd="N"

thinking about this logically if i have a micro sd card inserted in the builtin dock of omega 2+ and i can see it by typing 'df' into command prompt and then not do anything but wait 2 minutes, type 'df' again and i can't see the sd card is this right or wrong ( only reason i can think of, of why it would automatically not show is if it was automatically dismounting because of no activity) otherwise i think its broken, which im guessing it is secondly, command 'swapon' i don't think according to the documentation should come up with swapon: not found i mean to get to the point of initiating the swap file i used 'mkswap' which worked, swap file is working i just can't get that one command to work, why i just don't know if im doing something wrong, the documentation is wrong, or the device is broken so frustrating for new users, not one step has worked correctly yet
