@Kazooie : Hadn't time top check the datasheet in depth, but you should indeed get values up to 4096 if Vin = Vdd (check p.13 of datasheet). What is you Vdd and Vin to wich you get 252 (which is a very strange value by the way). You could connect the analog input to you Vdd. The converter should output 4096.

Figured out the jumpers and addresses in the code for the moisture sensor and temperature sensor were mismatched in the illustration from the tutorial. Updated the code, temporarily, to verify the connections and components were working: https://onion.io/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/fritzing-model-1024x738.jpg Sensors are providing readings now in line with other independent sensors.

@jose-r You don't have to do anything with an Onion ADC Expansion Board: the power supply voltage of the ADS1115 is 5V each I2C bus line has a usual 5V-to-3.3V MOS-FET bidirectional logic level shifter

Hi, I have configured the I2S as it is shown in this topic and the I2S Output work perfectly. Now, I'm testing the I2S Input and I've found some problems. I'm trying a loopback between I2S_DOUT and I2S_DIN to test the I2S input. When I try to use the arecord command there is an error: arecord: main:828: audio open error: No such file or directory Could you indicate how did you test the I2S input? @CAP-33 when creating an adcExp object, you can specify the address. See this example: https://github.com/OnionIoT/adc-exp/blob/master/examples/readAll.py#L8 Then you just supply the device address that corresponds to your switch setting.

Thank you @György-Farkas for detailed answer. I've tried this ADC (on demo board) on Arduino and also received nothing. I think that this board is broken. I bought ADS1115 and now I can smoothly read from photodiode If somebody will need that in future guys from Control Everything Community made working python example for Omega2. (or at least it's working in my case with FW: 0.2.0 b191)

@yaseen-almanna From reading the data sheet for the MAX11665, it looks like it should be possible to access it using SPI. While I am not highly familiar with SPI usage on the Omega, doing a quick search shows that there are available opkg packages. It may be worth looking at the following packages: spi-tool spi-tools libonionspi Additionally, for ADC, it may be worth looking at I2C based ADCs. I have successfully used the following that uses I2C connected to my Omega: https://www.adafruit.com/product/1083 Though I don't actually use it myself, there is an opkg package for this: ads1x15-chip
