  @Lyra-Heartstrings The serial-port on the Omega2 is a bit fiddly and it may not quite work right with all USB serial-adapters. Out of my adapters, for example, only the PL2303-based one works, the others produce similar output as your log.

  @Adrian-Rix Sure---I built using the "image" branch of https://github.com/WereCatf/source.git on a Debian stretch system. Basically, once you have checked that out, you can do just make to get the image, however you might want to select things using make menuconfig first.

  Thanks for letting us know! We have been seeing this issue internally as well, and we believe it stems from one of our back-end dependencies. It has been under investigation, and we'll update you as soon as we have more information available.

  @WereCatf I assume you mean Power Dock or? Nevertheless, I'm not sure what happened but suddenly today Setup Wizard started to work. Now I'm working on WiFi configuration.

  @fossette Most of the various ext2/3/4-related tools, including mkfs and fsck, are provided by e2fsprogs. dosfstools should have similar stuff for FAT, as far as I know.

  First post here! I hope to be part of this community, I think I'll need it because there are lots of things to solve. Let's si if once every piece of docs is released the board improves. Type this: cat /sys/class/leds/onion:amber:system/trigger You'll get an output with something among [].That is the mode of your LED, it should be default-on but it will probably be timer. Write this: echo default-on > /sys/class/leds/onion:amber:system/trigger Cheers, Iker.

  It's been a few hours, I can bring it up, no forever blinking. This has happened before. A couple of times I powered with a bench supply and saw current going from 200 ma to 0 and 2 seconds back to 200. This happened over and over. Let it sit for a while, it went to normal. Anyway, if I leave it on and not touch anything, it behaves. All the parameters have to be right. Now, router still open. PuTTY usually never fails. WPA-PSK[TKIP] WPA2-PSK[AES] WPA-PSK[TKIP]+WPA2-PSK[AES] Which one? I tried the 2nd so far. The 2 others are None and WEP. Think that's when continuous blinking started. I could try again. Can you tell me what you show on your various screens? Where you located? I'm in LA, USA I put back WPA2-PSK[AES]. Did a cold re-start. Amber started blinking, but will not stop. Stumped!

  I want to try to modify the least possible the Omega. For a possible future "production line"... But I will try this option (enable lede repositories). I'm agree that mysql is heavy, for now I just "test" the omega for php development... Thanks,

You have lots of details to clarify, for example the use of a TCP or UDP port. Plus, at that rate, WiFi may become a bottleneck... Perhaps you should consider the use of an Ethernet cable instead. Thankyou fossette, Unlike uart to wifi, it may be needed that low level C coding shoud be taken. My application should be wireless TCP socket between two omega2 modules. The one is a station with tcp server and the other is an access point with tcp socket client.The distance between two modules is under 10meters. I can not find the information about real maximum throughput using omega2. Just I guess that the 10Mbps throughput can be achieved via omega2's 802.11n wifi.

  I was not. I have been trying for over a week. I can't get any support from the helpdesk and the tips from the forum have not helped me either. I might have a short circuit on the underside of the board, but hard to know. I have a multimeter but the two points that are soldered together are both ground but there still might be damaged because someone has scratched away the solder at the factory leaving horrible markings.
