root@Omega-8F17:~# opkg list | grep procps
root@Omega-8F17:~#
What am I doing wrong :s
I've also downloaded all the package list files from "opkg update" and manually searched them.. procps doesn't exist.
I did source it from another place though but I'm unsure if this is a bad idea:
wget https://downloads.lede-project.org/releases/packages-17.01/mipsel_24kc/packages/procps-ng_3.3.11-3_mipsel_24kc.ipk
wget https://downloads.lede-project.org/releases/packages-17.01/mipsel_24kc/packages/procps-ng-watch_3.3.11-3_mipsel_24kc.ipk
opkg install procps-ng_3.3.11-3_mipsel_24kc.ipk
opkg install procps-ng-watch_3.3.11-3_mipsel_24kc.ipk
Why does it seem my Omega2s can't find the package yet you can? Are you on an Omega2 or an original?
I have used this LCD and have gotten it to work with a tutorial here.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01GPUMP9C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is how I got it working with the LCD

You will need to get an expansion dock, power dock or mini dock or ardruino dock to really make it easy to work with. If you didnt, you can order one from the indygogo campaign.
I reflowed omega2 but it didn't fixed it.. It still saying it only has 64k RAM..
I think I damaged PCB while removing EMI shield..
Well, thanks everybody.
I think this is simply a wiring issue - I've had it come up before. The number should be 28.<something>. The 00.400.. is what I think is called a ghost ID - a temporary one that doesn't actually reference anything and gets replaced once communications are established.
Unless I'm misunderstanding what you want to do - I think the command you want is expled?
root@Omega-1097:~# expled --help
Functionality:
Set colors on Omega Expansion Dock LED
Usage:
/usr/bin/expled <hex value>
Displays color of hex value on the Exp Dock LED
/usr/bin/expled -help
Displays this prompt
