To chime in: yes, there was a bug in the oupgrade program in the firmware that was installed during production. This has since been fixed and the fix is included in the latest firmware.
So there's three ways you can upgrade your Omega2 Pro if you are on firmware v0.3.0 b207 or lower
Use the browser-based setup wizard, the steps can be found here
Follow our manual firmware installation guide, just note for step 1, you can find the latest Omega2 Pro firmware here
Make the fix to oupgrade as mentioned above
Once you've installed the latest firmware, oupgrade will work as intended :)
Setting the time locally worked for me too. The real solution would be to fix the time it's pulling via ntp or lack there of. I attempted to update uci with 0.pool.ntp.org, with no joy. How do you fix the NTP daemon?
It's silent now... no wifi network detected (the Onion Access Point) and the connection via serial will only bring a dark empty console... Amber LED never flashed since I switched it on the very first time Mobdro App
Hi @Josh-Rosenthal, you can actually change the IP address of your Omega to something else to avoid conflict with your router. Just edit /etc/config/network, you should be able to find a block that looks like this:
